Not just two Black holes can collide 3 can there are 3 quasars are near each other and when 3 black hole collides 1 goes away so if there was 1 stellar mass black hole and 2 super massive black holes the stellar mass black hole will be the one that goes away because the one with the most least mass goes away and stellar black holes have-less mass then super massive black holes {the type of black hole with the highest number of mass} the ripples can still form.
